Privacy Policy

Effective from: 20 May 2026Last updated: 20 May 2026

In plain English

We collect the information we need to fulfil your orders, send the emails you ask for, and run a basic analytics view on the site. We don't sell your data, we don't share it for marketing, and we keep it only as long as we need it. You can ask for a copy or deletion at any time by emailing support@quantumlabsaus.co.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy explains how Quantum Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information collected through www.quantumlabsaus.co and any associated subdomains. It applies to all visitors to the website and all customers of Quantum Labs.

2. The personal information we collect

We collect only the information we need to operate the service. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, and (if you place an order) a shipping address.
  • Order details: the products you order, quantities, prices paid, and any notes you add to your order.
  • Payment information: transactions are processed by our cryptocurrency payment provider. We do not see or store your wallet credentials — we receive only an order reference, a status, and the amount paid.
  • Research-protocol quiz answers: if you complete the protocol-matching quiz, we store your answers and the matched protocol against the email address you provide.
  • Technical data: IP address (anonymised where practical), browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and an anonymous visitor identifier stored in a first-party cookie. This data is used for analytics and security purposes only.
  • Support correspondence: if you contact us by email, we keep the content of your message and our reply for support continuity.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Process and fulfil orders, including shipping and customer support
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, back-in-stock alerts, magic-link sign-in)
  • Match research-protocol recommendations to the inputs you provide in the quiz
  • Maintain site security, detect fraud, and prevent abuse
  • Improve the website through aggregated, de-identified analytics
  • Meet record-keeping obligations under Australian law

We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

4. Service providers we share information with

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate the website and fulfil orders. Information is shared with them only to the extent strictly necessary, and each provider is bound by their own data-protection obligations. The categories of providers we use are:

  • Hosting and content delivery — serves the website to your browser and handles application logs.
  • Database storage — stores order, customer, and quiz records.
  • Transactional email delivery — delivers order confirmations, magic-link sign-in emails, and other transactional messages.
  • Payment processing — processes cryptocurrency payments. We share only the order reference and amount with the processor; payment credentials never reach our servers.
  • Shipping carriers — your shipping address is shared with the courier fulfilling your order so the parcel can be delivered.
  • Analytics — we operate a first-party analytics system on our own infrastructure. If we add a third-party analytics service in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be notified before activation.

We do not name individual service providers in this policy. If you require provider-specific information for a regulatory enquiry, contact us at support@quantumlabsaus.co and we will respond on a case-by-case basis.

5. International transfer of data

Some of our service providers are located outside Australia. When personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the data consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using the site, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for two purposes only:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — these power the cart, sign-in session, and age-gate confirmation. The site does not function without them.
  • Analytics cookies — an anonymous visitor identifier is set so we can measure aggregate site usage. This cookie contains no personal data and cannot be used to identify you.

We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or any third-party tracking that follows you around the web. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep your information

  • Order records: retained for the period required by Australian tax and consumer-law record-keeping obligations (typically 7 years).
  • Customer account and email: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of customer-support follow-up.
  • Quiz responses: retained against the email you provided for as long as the matched-protocol record remains useful.
  • Raw analytics events: automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • Support correspondence: retained while the matter remains open, then archived for a reasonable period in case of follow-up.

Where there is no ongoing legal or operational need to hold information, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the following rights:

  • Access: you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: you can ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, or incomplete.
  • Deletion: you can ask us to delete information we no longer have a legal or operational reason to hold.
  • Complaint: if you believe we have mishandled your information, you can lodge a complaint with us and (if unresolved) with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@quantumlabsaus.co. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access — including encrypted transport (HTTPS site-wide), encrypted-at-rest database storage, scoped admin authentication, and routine review of access controls. No security control is absolute, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be intercepted or accessed by unauthorised parties.

10. Children

This website and its products are not intended for, and not marketed to, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@quantumlabsaus.co and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective-from date at the top of this page reflects the most recent material revision. Where changes are significant, we will notify registered customers by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the website after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy can be sent to support@quantumlabsaus.co. We respond to all privacy enquiries within 30 days.
